Happy Birthday my Charlie, I can not believe it has been one year! All I can say is my cup runneth over. Every morning you wake up jabbering in your crib, and when I walk in your room you start racing around your crib until I get on my tippy toes to reach in and rescue you. You happily stuff your face with scrambled eggs while I get my TODAY show fix and do dishes. Then we play in your toy room and you usually let me read my scriptures. Then you happily nap so I can exercise and shower and then we are off for an adventure. We go to Aunt Dani's, Gateway, Museums, shopping, any where that you can let loose.
For your birthday dinner Dad and I took you to the Pizza Factory because you love spaghetti. You will eat it until I make you stop.
Every night you get a bath in the sink and after I let you play for just a little while 'we' clean your toy room. When your hair is wet it gets curly. I love your curly hair, I think you are the most beautiful baby boy ever!
For your birthday you went shopping with your Dad for a new Hot Wheel. This is his tradition he created just for the two of you.
You love the Gateway Discovery, Dad really wants you to like rock climbing, and apparently you do!
You will watch Baby Signing Times almost the whole way through but you move around the room while you watch. You can do 'more', 'milk', and 'all done' (that's your favorite).

You pretty much love anything you do with your dad, he makes my life better too. One year ago we had no idea what we were in for, we had no idea how wonderfully happy you would make us. I love you more than I can express, but if you need a visual, I don't mind it when you put your dirty hands on an outfit that I just put on, because I love you and you and your dad are the best part of my life.

Happy Birthday Charlie! Keith has started a collection of Matchbox/Hot Wheels for Ethan. That's a great tradition for the two boys. We might have to steal this idea if you're cool with that! Love you guys. Glad to see that all is well with your little family.

Can't believe he's already one....I guess I couldn't believe my baby was either. He is seriously so adorable. he looks just like you too!!
